You might have seen these in Angling Times, they made a big fuss about them. Made from biodegradable corn starch and 100% natural and fish friendly they have the consistency of rubber and are supposed to be impervious to the attentions of crayfish, little bream and small catfish. Immersion in water gives an immediate sponge effect allowing more of the flavour attractants to leach out than with a normal boilie. I haven't counted them, but there looks to be about 25 boilies in the 20mm jar. They are available in three sizes, 16mm, 20mm and 35mm, perhaps the 35mm ones are rejects from Wimbledon that's just finished !!
