Fox Dave Kelbrick Sleuth 6'10" Rod

The Sleuth has been specifically designed to cast a wide variety of medium and heavy lure types. Despite its power, the rod retains a forgiving action in the tip section when under pressure, to ensure hooks don't pull out of lunging pike. This is something that similar rods of this kind often lack but with the Sleuth you are still in control of the pike if it makes a lunge under the boat without worrying about the rod being too stiff and unforgiving. You will find that the Sleuth is quite capable of casting very big crankbaits of three to six ounces. It is also equally at home when used with medium and large 2-5ounces (60-140gm) jerkbaits and large soft plastics in the same weight range. It also comes in handy when used with big surface lures and 2-4oz (60-110gm) spinner baits because of the rods extra length. Rated approx 1-5oz (30gm-140gm) but will handle bigger. Braid of 50-100lb test. A very versatile rod indeed.
