The Vario Bomb Rod has what can safely be described as 'the ultimate progressive action'. The spliced carbon tip has been designed to produce a flawless curve without any hint of a flat spot. Power builds gradually through the blank making the Vario as suitable for carp on commercial waters, as it is for bream and roach on stillwaters and rivers. The rod will cast bombs and feeders up to 1.5oz and during test distances in excess of 50m were achieved. For best results use main lines from 2lb to 5lb and hooklengths from 0.06mm to 0.14mm. A high quality Fuji IPS Reel Seat is fitted to the full cork handle and holds the reel securely to the ultra light high modulus carbon blank. SLIK lined rings, exclusive to Fox, have been used throughout the rod and the rings on the quivertip are very light to maximise bite detection. A small hook retaining ring has been placed on the underside of the blank.
