Designed originally for carp waters, where casting big feeders and controlling hard-fighting fish is essential, the action of the Vario Carp 11' - 13' will come as a surprise to many. Due to the progressive through action it certainly lives up to its name, however the forgiving tip carrying section designed to absorb sudden increases in pressure has resulted in a rod that is versatile enough to use for all feeder fishing including stillwater bream and river chub and barbel. Fitted with a Fuji IPS Reel Seat and lined SLIK rings, the rod can be used at 11'(3.33m) on the restrictive pegs often found on commercial fisheries, or at 13' (3.9m) where distance casting is the objective. The 1oz and 2oz glass tips are designed for stillwater bream fishing, whilst the 3oz and 4oz carbon tips come into their own when bites are likely to be more positive. The carbon tips have larger diameter rings to allow the easy passage of shock leader knots.
