The 13' Carp Waggler rod was specifically designed for commercial carp fisheries where the fish have grown too big for them to be comfortably landed on conventional waggler or pole set-ups. We had to develop a blank that was capable of punching out wagglers at range but be forgiving under the rod tip, so as not to pull out with small hooks. These characteristics have been combined beautifully to make this rod equally at home on running waters for specimen chub and barbel, as it is with carp on commercial fisheries. The versatility of this rod allows you to use a wide range of lines from 3 to 8lb breaking strain. In keeping with the Vario range a high quality Fuji IPS Reel Seat is fitted to the full cork handle and holds the reel securely to the high modulus carbon blank. Durable SLIK lined rings, exclusive to Fox, have been used throughout and a small hook retaining ring has been placed on the underside of the blank.
