| The vario Match is available in three different lengths and has a progressive through action, a characteristic shared with the other rods in the Vario range. This feature allows pressure to be applied through the tip and middle right down to the butt. The result is highly versatile rods that can be used for big and small fish, without fear of the dreaded 'lock up' that can lead to hook pulls and lost fish at the net. The light tips are crisp and responsive on the strike and enable hooklengths as low as 0.07mm to be used whilst the progressive build-up of power in the middle section helps play powerful fish correctly and enhances casting performance. A high quality Fuji IPS Reel Seat is fitted to the full cork handle and holds the reel securely to the high modulus carbon blank. Durable SLIK lined rings, exclusive to Fox, have been used throughout and a small retaining ring has been placed on the underside of the blank.
