Fox Runt

The Runt has a slow to medium sink rate that requires very little effort to achieve an action that pike will find very hard to resist. Short steady taps of the rod tip will see this bait weave tightly and steadily from side to side, whilst short lifts of the rod will see the lure rise and dip in an enticing manner. Another lure whose best results are produced with a steady retrieve causing a nice steady weaving action. This is a good bait to use when larger lures are being ignored and is best between 1 and 2 metres although it can be worked down to three or four metre on a very slow retrieve.
